Open House
Everyone is congregated in the spacious auditorium of the SHIELD Academy. The noise level is probably a decibel below deafening and the lights are probably a little dimmer than what might seem normal for this time in the evening, but it doesn't seem to bother anyone as they just carry on. There are banners strewn about welcoming all first years to a new chapter in their lives while others welcome the others back for another year at the Academy. Refreshments are served up on stage while other tables set up around the massive room are home to pamphlets and flyers for clubs and classes. Special electives and advertisements for training sessions are also littered amongst the tables.
Make a few friends, find old ones, look into clubs that catch your interest. This is open house for all returning students and prospective students, so hang out, hit up others and just mingle!

It's his first year here, though he's a sophomore; he'd rather not talk about freshman year, but then, most freshman years are rough, right?
The bowl of pretzels is placed down beside Myka, and Bucky sits in the seat on the other side of the pretzels, giving her space, but clearly curious about her. He knows better than to interrupt a woman reading, though-- it's rude as hell-- so he tries to not be too overt about his curiosity about the person reading in a deafeningly loud room.

"I tutor, but I don't do other people's homework," she said, reaching into the bowl and popping a pretzel into her mouth. She hadn't had anyone ask her for that since she left public school, but why else would some hot jock be talking to her?

Alright, so Bucky might have been there to ask her if she did do other people's homework, because Bucky despised English with a passion because seriously, what is literature, just a bunch of stuffy shit written by dead people--
He did like art, though. His best friend had really liked art. He missed Steve.
"Well that's a relief," he replied with an easy smile. "Can I book you now for English and History? The only part of History I'm any good at is World War 2. Everything before it is stuffed with nobles no one cares about and everything after gets all spotty when people try to explain it to me."

"Sure. I don't have anyone scheduled yet this year so you're ahead of the game," she told him. Both English and History were simple for her; but everything was. It was one of the perks of having a memory like hers.
"Erm, I'm Myka," she added.
