SHIELD Academy
Open House
Everyone is congregated in the spacious auditorium of the SHIELD Academy. The noise level is probably a decibel below deafening and the lights are probably a little dimmer than what might seem normal for this time in the evening, but it doesn't seem to bother anyone as they just carry on. There are banners strewn about welcoming all first years to a new chapter in their lives while others welcome the others back for another year at the Academy. Refreshments are served up on stage while other tables set up around the massive room are home to pamphlets and flyers for clubs and classes. Special electives and advertisements for training sessions are also littered amongst the tables.

Make a few friends, find old ones, look into clubs that catch your interest. This is open house for all returning students and prospective students, so hang out, hit up others and just mingle!

"Vegetarian? Oh, that's just adding insult to injury," Natasha laughs, looking amused at the statement. "We'll have to find you a cheeseburger, stat. And oh man, I so would have gone for running away. Or kidnapping, whichever that technically counts as. And yeah, we can make up for it now. You have any big plans for this year?"

"Exactly." She said with a pointed finger, glad the other girl understood. "I managed to convince them to stop for chicken sandwiches. It was compromise." She smirked at that.

Leeloo tended to be a nose to the books girl the last few years, but growing up had made her a bit more adventurous now. It started to show last year, but now she was ready for the year! Ready for fun and adventure and... more biology work, sure.

Running a hand through her orange half-locks she gave a half hearted shrug and lopsided smile. "No plans yet. Wanted to see if there was anything going on with others first. See who I can pull into new plans, maybe?"

That has Natasha laughing, shaking her head in mock dismay at the adults they're both stuck with. "Well, I haven't heard of anything in particular planned yet, but I'm sure it'll happen soon. And there's always people around here willing to be pulled into plans." Yes, that's more than a hint of mischief in Natasha's eyes.

Leeloo grinned at that mischievous look in Natasha’s eyes. She liked it. “After such a boring summer I’m hoping there will at least be a party or something, after this.” Because why not? Something that didn’t require instructors and adults.

Her smirk grows a hint. "Well, mind I haven't heard anything concrete, but I've heard there might be a reason to swing by one of the rooms in the dorms later. Loki's, I think. Could be you might find what you're looking for."

She leaned in almost conspiringly to the shorter girl, grinning as she heard this. “Oh really?” Now that was more like it. A silent little set of tiny claps was given in excitement. “I wonder if it would be all right to crash that party.” All right or not she’s going to be checking it out.

"I'm pretty sure all the third and fourth years are invited, so you wouldn't even be crashing. Unless you'd rather crash it. In which case, you're totally not allowed to go," she added in mock seriousness, humor glinting in green eyes.

She was about to tell her that she was NO fun, but then the 'not allowed to go' popped up and she grinned. Yes, good. Much better. "Well, if I'm not allowed to go then I will see you there at the party too?"

Natasha returns her grin with a matching one, because yeah, she knows how this works. "Totally. I'll save you a cup."
