Who: Buffy Summers (
prophesiedgirl), Xander Harris (
theheartpart), & YOU!
Where: Cafeteria
When: Move In Day
Rating: T for Teenagers. F for Food.
Summary: Having found the cafeteria, (the one place where high schoolers are truly made and broken), Xander insists that Buffy comes along towatch him eat copious amounts of food observe the current trend on social hierarchy.
"I'm telling you, Buffy, there is no way that this real meat," Xander said, gagging down a mouth full of what had been labeled "cheeseburger" at the window. Of course, having a fully funded food account on day one meant that Harris couldn't resist. Without added complaint, he picked up the food and continued eating, talking around the meal like it didn't taste like sawdust.
He made a noise, something akin to an oo-oo and pointed off in the direction of the doorway, buying himself some time in order to chew and swallow. "Did you see that? The eight foot tall dude with the hair? That guy is going to eat some of these dweebs," he explained with a chuckle, not at all clued in to any sort of perturbed expression he might be receiving (from Summers or those around him). He's not a freshman anymore, and that's what counts. He's not on the bottom. "Possibly literally," he added, leaning in to offer a conspiratorial whisper.
Of course, Xander wasn't exactly giving the Academy enough credit. It did tend to purposefully house the strangest assortment of high schoolers around, including Mr. Harris.
