Daken halted when Teddy came over, barely managing to keep the suspicion and nervousness he was feeling from showing. He looked down at Teddy's extended hand, considering whether or not to take it for a few moments too long before he seemed to force himself to extend his own hand and give the other boy's hand a weak shake. He was certainly much faster removing his hand.
Teddy. The boy didn't smell human, which immediately piqued his interest. His scent wasn't like anything he'd come across yet, which was even more intriguing. Not that he'd admit to any of this out loud, or actually bring it up to Teddy.
"I've got everything. Thank you," He was polite enough. Quiet, but polite, and dutifully followed Teddy into the vacant room. Once inside, he set his small duffle bag down, which seemed to weigh nearly nothing. It appeared to be all he had with him.
