SHIELD Academy
Open House
Everyone is congregated in the spacious auditorium of the SHIELD Academy. The noise level is probably a decibel below deafening and the lights are probably a little dimmer than what might seem normal for this time in the evening, but it doesn't seem to bother anyone as they just carry on. There are banners strewn about welcoming all first years to a new chapter in their lives while others welcome the others back for another year at the Academy. Refreshments are served up on stage while other tables set up around the massive room are home to pamphlets and flyers for clubs and classes. Special electives and advertisements for training sessions are also littered amongst the tables.

Make a few friends, find old ones, look into clubs that catch your interest. This is open house for all returning students and prospective students, so hang out, hit up others and just mingle!

I know I was. Clueless and scared but really excited. I don’t see the excitement I remember.

[Leeloo said as she slide stepped in next to him, having heard his comment. Hands behind her back she leaned forward a bit, looking over at him and up some. Her accent was still there but her English had improved over the years.]

[ Over the years, Johnny's gotten used to dealing with all kinds, and Leeloo is no exception to that rule. Johnny responds by crossing his arms and regarding her with an amused smirk. ]

The coolness was always there, you just didn't know where to look.

[At his comment she grinned wide, amused, and chuckled]

That is good point. I've gotten better about where to look though. Still not seeing the cool. [The look she gave said she was clearly teasing, sorry Johnny.]

Loo, you got a point there. [ Johnny turns so he can slip and arm around her shoulders. ] What you're really seein' is how hot I am, right?

[She glanced over at Johnny and gave him a skeptical look. In all honestly, yeah... he was pretty damn hot. And yes, she learned what Hot meant last year. But still... she raised a hand to touch the side of his cheek with the back of her fingers.]

You are a bit warm right now.

[ He's momentarily surprised by that cheekiness and reaches his own hand up to press against his face, trying to mimic what she'd done. ]

Shit, you're right. Might need a nurse to come take my temperature. [ He snickers. ] You think it's a terminal case?

[Shes been working on it! Aren't you proud?]

[Leeloo gives a serious (mockingly serious) face as she nods once, firmly] Yes, I'm afraid so. Very terminal. I should know. Supreme Being. [it was still in tease of course.] We should find you that nurse.

Nurse, eh? [ He can't help but grin at that, but it's... decidedly salacious in its own right (because he can't think of a nurse without going "Hellooooooo, Nurse," but Leeloo wouldn't get that reference, so instead she just gets his knowing smile.) ]

If you think I'm a terminal case, then maybe I oughta follow your lead.
