SHIELD Academy
Open House
Everyone is congregated in the spacious auditorium of the SHIELD Academy. The noise level is probably a decibel below deafening and the lights are probably a little dimmer than what might seem normal for this time in the evening, but it doesn't seem to bother anyone as they just carry on. There are banners strewn about welcoming all first years to a new chapter in their lives while others welcome the others back for another year at the Academy. Refreshments are served up on stage while other tables set up around the massive room are home to pamphlets and flyers for clubs and classes. Special electives and advertisements for training sessions are also littered amongst the tables.

Make a few friends, find old ones, look into clubs that catch your interest. This is open house for all returning students and prospective students, so hang out, hit up others and just mingle!

Gwen looks over and grins brightly. "Never too early to get your name out there, especially when running for president." Ambitious, she knew, but that was Gwen.

She chuckled at that, hands on her hips and watched the power again, for a moment longer, before grinning brightly back to the girl. "You can count on my vote." She'd rather vote for someone she considers a friend more then a stranger anyhow. third years stick together, right?

'Thanks Leeloo, that means a lot." She finished hanging the last poster and turned to give her friend her full attention. "How was your summer?"

"No prob-blum." She said firmly, giving a nod. "I'll help pass out fliers if you like." The girl offered before bouncing from heel to toe a moment. "Summer was as bland as always. Could have been better. Glad to be back though."

"How about you? Have fun?"

"That would be wonderful," she said giving her friend a grateful smile. "My summer was good, I was working in a science lab so it was very interesting."

"Ooo, that sounds a lot better then meditating." She admitted. "Anything of Earth changing importance yet?"
