[ It's Sif's senior year at the Academy, which actually has her a little nostalgic as she steps into the auditorium for the start of her last year. It's not as overwhelming and confusing as it had been at the start. Granted, Midgard can still be terribly confusing and strange, but she's adapted well to the strangeness, even come to cherish it.
And she could admit to herself that she missed it. Spending the past summer with the Valkyrie had been fascinating and exciting and adventurous, but there was a little part of her that had admittedly been feeling more and more at home and welcomed in Midgard after the past few years. She'd certainly found herself growing fond of the place.
To anyone who knew her before, there's a subtle difference about her as she moves among her classmates today. There's more of an air of confidence about her, a surety that she's lacked in previous years. The summer training with the female warriors has helped her grow into herself and much of the awkward clumsiness and uncertainty that haunted her moments in previous years isn't as much in evidence now. She's always been polite and respectful, however, and that remains unchanging as she greets her fellow students and catches up with acquaintances, as well as happily looks to make new ones as well. ]
